Rival fans trolled Cristiano Ronaldo on Thursday night by chanting Lionel Messi’s name throughout the game.
The Portuguese winger didn’t have the best of time on Thursday night, with his side losing 1-0 to their bitter rival Al-Ittihad in the Saudi League.
To make matters worse, their opponents now leapfrog them in the table and now comfortably occupy first place.
Ronaldo failed to score on the night, producing a very poor performance and was visibly upset after the full-time whistle blew.

As he stormed off the pitch he had to be consoled by one of his teammates before putting his boot through a water bottle.
The 38-year-old was ruthlessly trolled throughout the game with fans booing him and even directing Lionel Messi chants at him.
