Andy Farrell has made one change to the side that beat Wales last weekend, Dan Sheehan is out with a hamstring injury and Rob Herring takes his place in the front row.

Other than that one change, Farrell has named an identical side to face France at the Aviva Stadium on Saturday.

There were doubts earlier in the week over Conor Murray’s fitness but he starts at scrum half for Ireland. Andrew Porter, James Ryan and David Kilcoyne will all earn their 50th cap for their country on Saturday.

This face-off is touted as a potential championship decider, with Ireland’s home advantage set to be a huge fact in the result.

Both sides got off to a winning start in the Six Nations but Ireland will be a lot more confident than their opponents going into this fixture. They racked up an impressive 34-10 win over Wales, while France narrowly avoided defeat against Italy in Rome.
