Henry Shefflin has been handed a major injury blow as his cornerback, Oisin Salmon is set for a long spell on the sideline.
The young defender had to be taken off the field after suffering a shoulder injury during his Fitzgibbon Cup final on Saturday and ended up in the back of an ambulance.
According to the Irish Examiner, Salmon suffered a ‘high-grade AC joint injury to his right shoulder’ and may have to undergo surgery.

The injury is so severe that he will most definitely miss the rest of the league campaign and potentially the championship in the summer.
