Mason Greenwood has issued a statement after it was announced that the attempted rape and assault charges against him were dropped.
It was revealed on Thursday afternoon that the charges against Greenwood were dropped by the Crown Prosecution Service.

Now the 21-year-old has released his own statement on the matter.

This comes just an hour after Manchester United released a statement in regard to the decision and future of the player.
