England legend Michael Owen is heading into the Love Island villa – but fear not, you’re not going to have to watch him cracking on with the girls.
Owen has been forced to sit back and watch as his teenage daughter Gemma looks for love in the Love Island villa. In truth, it’s every father’s worst nightmare.
While he probably wouldn’t have wanted her to go on the show, were he to have the choice, he’s reportedly set to make an appearance on it himself.
As is reported by The Sun, Owen is expected to fly out to Mallorca and venture into the Love Island villa as part of the Meet The Parents segment of the series.
The Islanders’ parents and relatives come into the villa to meet the person that they are coupled up with, a potential future boyfriend or girlfriend.
With Gemma currently in a romantic couple with Luca Bish, Owen will no doubt be keen to meet her new love interest and lay down the law.
We have to say, it’s going to be absolutely hilarious seeing a former England international appear on Love Island. We can’t wait for when it happens…
