How could Rocky Marciano be left off this list??
Because Marciano had very weak opposition, similar to what Gerry Cooney had leading up to his title fight with Larry Holmes. He never fought over 205, never would have beaten half the guys Ali fought including Ali.
His undefeated record did not reflect greatness. He quit because his manager defrauded him. He waa only 32.
Absolutely 👍🏿
what planet are you people on JOE CALZAGHE triple world champion never beaten he even made a fool of three of those you have on your list world champ at two weights i cannot believe your list
I like Joe too but “top twenty” is a very tough cut to make. Just my opinion but from Great Britian Jimmy Wilde would be the highest rank and could definitely be in the top ten.
Sam Langford, Ezzard Charles, Marvin Hagler?..etc. But still a better list than I expected. Sweet Pea outta my hometown used to go watch my Dad fight at the Ol’ Norfolk arena. Nice to see him at 13.
The fact that Calzaghe or Marvin Hagler are not there, makes it just a list of great fighters
