Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s Squad Number Has Been Revealed

Manchester United’s new star man, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, has inadvertently revealed his squad number after signing for the Red Devils yesterday.

Speculation began to mount after an image of a United shirt with the Swede’s name donning the number nine appeared online which had United fans wondering would he actually be taking Anthony Martial’s number?

Well, he hasn’t and Martial will still be no.9 at Old Trafford next season with Zlatan taking the no.8 shirt adding more speculation the future of its previous owner, Juan Mata.

During his official presentation he can be seen mouthing the number eight after he asks what number he is. Conformation that he is officially no.8 has yet to be made but it’s very likely.
