Wimbledon viewers WILL be allowed to watch England v Germany on their phones… but they won’t be able to cheer any goals.

The vast majority of those who will be watching the action unfold at Wimbledon tomorrow evening will be English, which could prove problematic for those within that group who have a keen interest in football.

England will be hosting Germany at Wembley in their first Euro 2020 knockout match, with kick-off due to take place at 5pm, while tennis will still be being played on the Wimbledon courts.

England take on Germany at Wembley at 5pm on Tuesday

According to the Telegraph, the fans in attendance at Wimbledon will be allowed to watch the England v Germany game on their smartphones, but they won’t be allowed to cheer any goals.

Making any sudden or loud noises while the players are on the court could be deemed distracting, which means there’ll be a fair few viewers in the crowd biting their tongues if England find the back of the net.

Fortunately, the opponent is Germany, so there probably won’t be any England goals anyway…
