Arsene Wenger’s return to management has been confirmed… but it’ll only be for one game.

Wenger enjoyed a brilliant tenure at Arsenal before finally handing over the reins and moving on to a new position in football development with FIFA.

The Frenchman has been continually linked with various managerial roles since leaving the Emirates, but there doesn’t appear to have been any substance to the claims.

There is now, though, with Wenger having been confirmed to be returning to management for one game only.

As is reported by The Sun, Wenger will be taking charge of a Saudi Arabian dream team against Paris Saint-Germain in 2022.

The stars of Saudi Arabian sides al-Hilal and al-Nasr will be forming an alliance, with Wenger at the helm, to take on PSG in the Riyadh Season Cup in January.

Even if it’ll only be for 90 minutes, it’ll bring back fond memories seeing Wenger parading around his technical area.

If he manages to get one over on Mauricio Pochettino, he may well be getting a call from Nasser Al-Khelaifi in due course…
