Phelan shared the video on his official Twitter account from another account called ‘@BPete1970′ where Rio Ferdinand recalls the time the Manchester United squad were training one day and all of a sudden Sir.Alex Ferguson walks in with a large group of Chilean men.
It turned out that the men were the Chilean miners who were trapped underground for 69 days and who’s story of teamwork and survival captivated the world.
Ferguson used the men as an example of how working together towards a goal is a powerful thing, not just in life or death situations but all walks of life, including football.
