Real Madrid have been severely embarrassed after the La Liga giants were knocked out of the Copa del Rey by third division side Alcoyano.
Zinedine Zidane’s men suffered the shock 2-1 defeat to the underdogs thanks an injury time winner by Juanan in extra-time.

Zinedine Zidane’s men were heavy favourites to win the game but like in all cup competitions you’re only as good as you play on the day.
The result will probably go down as one of the greatest upsets in Copa del Rey history considering Alcoyano are so many divisions below giants Real Madrid.

Fans were not impressed with manager Zinedine Zidane’s reaction to the eventual winner as he was seen to be smirking.
Later in his press conference the Real Madrid legend said “Today’s loss is not a shame. This can happen. These are things that can happen in a football.”<
