Richard Keys and Andy Gray have been working for beIN Sports and were looking at some Manchester United statistics yesterday after Ole’s side won against Aston Villa. The two made some bold claims about The Red Devils saying that over the last season and a half, 20 out of their 33 penalties should not have been given. Richard Keys pointed out 3 specific Manchester United players when looking through which players had won the most fouls inside the opposition box and said that Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford are
“Serial offenders for me, they go over when you sneeze on them”.
United fans are furious after seeing the two’s opinions on Manchester United and are sickened by the pairs blanket statements with no evidence to look at. They didn’t bring a single penalty up on screen that they believed to be wrongfully given to United.

Here are some of the fans replies:
So let’s clarify this, VAR was brought in to make sure mistakes were rectified.. United end up with more penalties which would suggest they were denied penalties that should have been given in the past.

This is for anyone that thinks they can be objective. Out of all the 33 given, can you please dig up the ones you think shouldn’t be given? As in, if they were for your club you’d say it’s a wrong decision.

Thankfully they didn’t waste any time doing analysis or looking at stats of checking the actual penalties or any real work at all. What a loss for Sky Sports.
