Australia goalkeeper Mat Ryan made the task for his Australia side to get back into their match with Argentina just that little bit harder, as a moment of madness from the goalkeeper handed Julian Alvarez an easy goal.
As Graham Arnoldβs side attempted to play out from the back, Ryanβs poor touch to bring the ball out from under his feet allowed Manchester Cityβs Alvarez to pounce on the error inside the area and fire a shot into the bottom corner to double his sideβs lead.

Since that goal, the Argentinians have struggled to extend their lead, with Australia pulling a goal back through Craig Goodwin, whose long-range effort deflected off Lisandro Martinez and into the back of the net, wrong-footing Emi Martinez in the Argentina net.
