During an interview with ESPN MMA, UFC president Dana White revealed that ‘the old Conor McGregor is back.’

Irish MMA star Conor McGregor is readying himself to make yet another comeback since his last appearance which was a victory over Donald Cerrone at UFC 246 back in January 2020.

The 32-year-old former champion will make his highly anticipated return to the Octagon against Dustin Poirier at UFC 257 on January 24th.

In the lead up to the event UFC president Dana White has been trying to push the fight as much as possible by doing his media rounds including an interesting conversation with ESPN MMA‘s Brett Bokamoto.

During the interview White made it very clear that the Conor McGregor we all know and love is the one showing up at UFC 257.

“If something happens to Dustin Poirier, he is the Conor McGregor, right now, that does not give a s— who we put in that fight on that night. He’s that guy right now… That Conor McGregor is back.” said White.

It seems Mystic Mac is back again as McGregor told UFC Europe that he will ‘knock Dustin out in 60 seconds.’
