Bertrand Traore was able to get Aston Villa off the mark against Manchester United tonight after putting the ball past De Gea and into the back of the net in Old Trafford but everyone is wonder what Aaron Wan-Bissaka was doing in the build up. The English defender made the peculiar decision to try and slow down the free-kick rather than defend arguably Aston Villa’s most dangerous attacking threat Jack Grealish on the wing.
This error left Grealish with plenty of time to weigh up his options and loft in a brilliant cross which the Burkina Faso man converted as it found him at the far side of the box. Traore was given time to place the ball back across the goal and beat David De Gea low to his right side, should the United defenders have done a better job of blocking the cross or does Aaron Wan-Bissaka get all the blame.
