After what was a brilliant and historic night for Irish football on Tuesday evening when the Irish ladies team beat Scotland to go into the World Cup next year. UEFA are now set to investigate the Irish ladies singing ‘Oh aw up the Ra’. This is getting out of hand now and really been blown out of control it was mistake they apologised move on.

On a night when they should be the nations pride, the Republic of Ireland women’s team have instead become the nations shame.

No doubt UEFA will probably hand out a fine to the FAI, it’s an awful shame that this is what everyone is talking about at the moment. Let’s not take away from the fact that what the women achieved was simply incredible, especially when you consider where women’s football was in Ireland only a few short years ago..
