Enzo Maccarinelli believes that despite reports of Tyson Fury struggling in camp that he will have too much for the smaller Oleksandr Usyk.
Rumours had spread that the ‘Gypsy King’ was dropped in sparring and that the camp for the Ukrainian has not gone to plan.
Last time out Fury put in a lacklustre performance and was dropped by boxing debutant Francis Ngannou and narrowly avoided total embarrassment by claiming a controversial split-decision victory over the MMA star.
But speaking to TalkSPORT Maccarinelli gave his assessment on the clash and still believes the Brit will be too good for Usyk.
He said: “I’ve always said he’s too big and too good at what he does, and people are just banging on about the Ngannou performance which, let’s being honest, was a terrible performance.

“But that has probably kick-started him and focused him on the challenge ahead, he will not be taking Usyk lightly.”
Fury and Usyk collide on February 17th in Saudi Arabia in the ‘Ring of Fire’.
