It’s happening – the world is becoming a better place and 2021 is already showing indications that it’s going to be better than 2020.
Covid vaccines are being rolled out, some countries are practically living Covid free and Sheffield United have only gone and won a Premier League game.
The miracle happened against Newcastle United when Sheffield were awarded a penalty by VAR for handball and up stepped Billy Sharp to slot home and secure The Blades first three points of the season.
Prior to tonight’s victory the home side had only two points from 17 games conceding 29 goals along the way.
The goal was Billy Sharps 100th goal for the club and his 232nd in league football this century making him the highest scorer in England since 2000.
Following their very first victory this season people took to Twitter to express how they felt about ‘The Blades’ beating Newcastle and securing their first three points of the season.
