OH MY WORD! Trent Alexander-Arnold has scored an absolute beauty to sign and seal Liverpool’s victory over Newcastle United.
On a night that saw a COVID-depleted Chelsea side stumble to a stalemate against Everton, Liverpool comfortably dispatched relegation-threatened Newcastle, despite having trailed early on in the contest.
Jonjo Shelvey’s brilliant goal was cancelled out by strikes from Diogo Jota and Mohamed Salah, before Trent Alexander-Arnold added another worldie to his ever-growing showreel to secure all three points for the Reds.
Pick that out!

Liverpool lost Virgil Van Dijk, Fabinho and Curtis Jones soon before kick-off this evening after they all returned positive COVID-19 test results. Jurgen Klopp’s men made light work of the Magpies nonetheless.
Manchester City, fresh off the 7-0 battering of Leeds United, are getting all the plaudits at the moment, but Liverpool are equally as impressive and keep on picking up convincing victories at the expense of their Premier League counterparts.
They may well be the team to beat…
