With the European football out of the way and Pep Guardiola’s men out of the Champions League all eyes will be firmly fixed on the Etihad Stadium this Sunday come 4:30pm.

The Blue side of Manchester will hope to derail Liverpool’s chances of winning the Premier League for only the second time in their history. Meanwhile the Gunners will take on West Ham United in a London Derby in the Saturday game at 3pm at the Emirates Stadium in North London.

If Arsenal want to have any chance of catching the league leaders, they simply have to beat the Hammers and make it four wins in a row for the Gooners. This weekend has the makings of being the biggest weekend yet in the Premier League season.

If Liverpool fail to get the full three points at the Etihad Stadium in Manchester, the North London club will really fancy their chances and what’s to say Manchester City won’t either of winning the Premier League.

The blue side of Manchester are out of every other competition, so why not go full wack from here till the end of the season and add a seventh league title to the Blue side of Manchester.

It’s a bumper weekend of sport and one that we can’t wait to get going, with the Six Nations taking place in the rugby and the Premier League hitting fever pitch .. Now is the time for whoever wants to win this league to really stake their claim.

Squeaky bum time as a famous Scot once said and this is the time of year where teams decide are they in the fight or aren’t they.

This could be the last chance for a lot of great players to win the Premier League, with talks ongoing the whole time with Mohamed Salah, will he stay or will he go? Will Trent Alexander-Arnold still be a Liverpool player next season and will Kevin de Bruyne still have it in the legs and in the heart to keep going with Manchester City next season?

These are all huge questions that will be answered in the coming weeks and months and one of many reasons why we love the Premier League. Strap on the seatbelts, because this weekend is going to be huge for all three clubs involved.

Can Arne Slot and his men remain on track this weekend or will Pep Guardiola and his Manchester City side stop the Reds in their tracks. It’s going to make for a great weekend of sport ..
