🚨 Tommy Fury vs KSI fight result officially changed after huge error

Tommy Fury won via majority decision against KSI on Saturday night but it emerged that one judge gave an incorrect score.

The two went head-to-head in Manchester on Saturday night in their highly anticipated fight but fans walked away disappointed.

Both fighters failed to impress as they spent the majority of the rounds in the clinch and the lacklustre fight ended going to the judges scorecards.

Fury won via a majority decision with two out of three judges giving him the victory despite being docked a point in the second round for continually punching KSI in the back of his head.

But it later emerged that one of the judges, Rafael Ramos, added his card up incorrectly and awarded KSI 57 points instead of 56 which meant Fury should’ve actually won by unanimous decision.

And now it appears the result has been corrected to reflect that.

Post-fight KSI said that the decision was a ‘robbery’ and that he planned to appeal the result.

Speaking to Ariel Helwani he said:

“We are going to appeal. I wanna appeal, bro. I’m sorry, that is outrageous.

“We need to see it again. I felt like I won that.”

Is KSI right to feel aggrieved? Let us know in the comments.

  1. Yes he has every right to challenge the decision, take a look at John, Shane and Luke’s (Tyson’s) faces there was no one else in that building more surprised than them,

Tommys not a professional boxer if he was to get in the ring with any decent boxers he would be pulverised if not dead, for a family of fighters they should realise he’s not cut out, Tyson said his cousin Huey Fury wasn’t up for the heavyweight challenge he wasnt good enough ten times the man that Tommy is.

    1. What can you do though when you got KSI cuddling you 90% of the fight, Tommy Fury can not get into a rhythm, if it had been a 12 round fight Fury would have knocked him out!!!

  2. What is with this fight being 6 rounds? They should’ve at least done 8. Would’ve left less of a question. Still, I think KSI is being a crybaby. He thinks MORE points should have been deducted from Fury for illegal hits, but even the one puts an asterisk on the whole thing for me. I think we need a better scoring system where one illegal hit doesn’t result in an entire point. If the fight had been longer, again, this wouldn’t have been as much of a problem, but that one point made a HUGE difference in KSI’s favor and he’s still crying and asking “How do I lose a 6-rounder?” Well, just like you did. What do you mean, “How do I lose?” You lost. Get over it.
