Shannon Briggs is eyeing a return to the ring.
Briggs (60-6-1) has fought the likes of Lennox Lewis, Vitali Klitschko and George Foreman but was last in the ring in 2016.
But that hasn’t stopped him eyeing up a fight with newly ranked WBC heavyweight, Francis Ngannou.

Speaking to IFLTV the 51-year-old said on Ngannou:
“He is a formidable guy, but at the same time, I’ll knock him out. I’m not worried about that anybody doubts that, they can doubt it.”
He continued: “He can’t move, He a flat-footed bum. He just a pie. I’ll knock him out. He try to slug with me he’s got no chance, I’m too fast. Let’s go champ!”
It remains unlikely that the two will clash with Francis Ngannou looking towards a potential rematch with Tyson Fury next year.
