The Late Late Show presenter Ryan Tubridy has come in for a lot of slating on twitter today for his for his ‘Misogynistic’ Question directed at Derry Girls actor Jamie Lee O’Donnell. It was an incredible awkward moment on the chat show last night on RTE.
Derry Girls has been a massive success and has big viewership in Ireland and around the UK. People were not happy with the RTE host asking a extremely cheeky question on the main chat show in Ireland.

Didn't watch, obviously, so only catching up with the Late Late show drama now. I can't believe that Ryan Tubridy would ask a misogynistic question of a woman in this day and age. Assume apology will be forthcoming.

Oh dear. Ryan Tubridy accused of being misogynistic by his guest from Derry Girls on the Late Late Show.

Why Ryan Tubridy is so rude and patronising, especially to every single female guest or audience member he's ever interviewed. Opens the show strongly dealing with the weeks tragedies, but like clockwork he's back to his robotic pre-programmed style of disrespect… #LateLate

I think Ryan Tubridy's time is over. Too old fashioned and misogynistic for my 2022 taste. Perhaps replacing him with a young female presenter would be a more forward-thinking and progressive development. #LateLateShow

SEND IN THE CLOWNS: Members of the Late Late Show audience have decided to continue wearing masks even though it's not a legal requirement anymore.
The reason behind it, is they're absolutely mortified that someone will notice them applauding Ryan Tubridy. pic.twitter.com/DN8cjiGPZE— Independent.ie (@philthrill69) April 7, 2022
Probably not the best move to ask this Tubs…
