Cristiano Ronaldo netted an absolute stunner for Manchester United against Tottenham this afternoon.
Ronaldo, who was not even in the matchday squad as Man United headed to the Etihad, was back in the starting XI as the Red Devils hosted Tottenham in a top four six-pointer on Saturday evening.
While you could argue that Man United function better without Ronaldo in the side, the moments of quality that he has provided so often over the years justify his selection.
Ronaldo added another to his showreel just after the ten minute mark against Spurs, setting his sights 25-yards from goal and rifling the ball into the top corner of Hugo Lloris’ net.
