Cristiano Ronaldo was absent from the Manchester United travelling party which headed down to London ahead of their clash with Brentford.
Ronaldo missed Man United’s last Premier League game against Aston Villa through injury. His compatriot Bruno Fernandes gave the Red Devils a two-goal lead, but United capitulated and stumbled to a draw.
Ralph Rangnick will, understandably, be desperate to have Ronaldo back in the mix as soon as possible, but will he be fit to take on Brentford in West London tomorrow evening?
That remains unclear, but The Sun report that there was no sign of Ronaldo as Man United flew to London ahead of the game. Although, there may well be a perfectly good explanation.

Ronaldo was in Switzerland yesterday as he received a FIFA commendation for becoming the all-time top international goal scorer in the history of the game.
CR7 shared a photo of him flying via his private jet, so he may well have headed down to London of his own accord, should he be deemed fit enough to feature in the game.
Alternatively, Ronaldo could have flown back to Manchester only to find that there was no point heading to Brentford as he continues his recovery from injury. We shall see…
