Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku has changed agency ahead of a potential summer exit from Stamford Bridge, according to CaughtOffside.
Lukaku re-signed for Chelsea last summer in a deal worth £97m. With the Blues having lifted the Champions League, you figured that the Belgian was the last piece of the puzzle as they looked to challenge domestically.
However, Lukaku has proven to be a complete misfit. The move has not worked out for either himself or Chelsea. They could prolong their suffering or part ways this summer – by the sound of things, Lukaku has already made his mind up.
According to CaughtOffside, Lukaku has ditched his agency as he is not impressed with the guidance he has been given. It’s understood Lukaku has appointed a lawyer to represent him and is now on the hunt for a new club.
Lukaku’s representative(s) are believed to be meeting with Inter Milan CEO Giuseppe Marotta next week to decipher whether a return to Inter Milan could be plausible. It really does look like he will be leaving Chelsea this summer.
