Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho is facing an uncertain future at Old Trafford.
After a disappointing campaign, the Red Devils will look to make a wholesome change to the squad, and Garnacho could be offloaded.
United head coach Ruben Amorim has told the winger, per BBC Sport, that he can leave the club in the summer window.
The 20-year-old was only introduced as a 71st-minute substitute in the 1-0 Europa League defeat against Tottenham Hotspur.
It appears that things are not going right for the Argentine off the pitch as well.
According to a report from The Sun, burglars tried to get inside Garnacho’s house.
While he was playing for United, two balaclava-clad thugs arrived near Garnacho’s house, but they picked the wrong house instead.
They buzzed on a door to check if anyone was there, but they picked Garnacho’s neighbour’s house instead. A dog walker then saw and challenged them, before private security guards arrived.
One neighbour in Altrincham said: “They were targeting Garnacho — but they got the wrong home.
“They were after his house as it was 8pm and they would have known he was playing at Old Trafford.”
Garnacho has put his family’s £3.85 million mansion up for sale.
Chelsea were close to securing a deal for the 20-year-old in January, but in the end it failed to materialise.
New Serie A champions Napoli were also keen on the forward, and it remains to be seen if they come up with an offer for him.
