We lost an Irish legend today, Alan McLoughlin will always be remember for scoring that famous goal for the Republic of Ireland against Northern Ireland in Belfast to send the Republic to the FIFA World Cup in 1994. The 54 year old was battling with cancer and will be remember by his friend and family and indeed everyone in Ireland the football community. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends at this time.
