Raheem Sterling has admitted that he is not content with the game-time he is being given at Manchester City, report Sky Sports.
Sterling, who endured a difficult 2020/21 campaign on a personal level, cut a frustrated figure at times for Man City.
While Pep Guardiola’s men enjoyed a great amount of collective success, winning the Premier League and Carabao Cup, Sterling was unable to produce his best performance level, being rotated in and out of the side as a result.
Sterling’s performance in England’s opening group match of Euro 2020 was as good a display as we saw all season at City, which suggested that life at the Etihad may not be working in his favour any longer.

While Sterling has stopped short of saying that, he has admitted that he is not entirely content with the game-time he is being given by Pep Guardiola, as Sky Sports report.
“It is just happiness, just being happy, enjoying my football and that is what I am doing being here with the national team.”
“If you’re not playing, you’re not happy. That’s me, that’s been me since I was a kid, if I’m playing football I am really happy, if I’m not I’m not happy.”
Once England’s Euro 2020 journey is over, Sterling may well be left with a decision to make as to whether he wants to continue with the champions or move elsewhere in hope of rediscovering his best form.
