Prior to his reunion with David Moyes, Lingard was short of confidence and getting next-to-no game time under Red Devils’ gaffer Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
In a desperate attempt to reignite his stalling career, the English midfielder teamed up with Moyes in London’s East End, and if truth be told – hasn’t looked back since.
In what has been one of the most successful short-term loans in football, Lingard has already racked up a hugely impressive eight goals and four assists in 12 appearances.
In fact, the 28-year-old’s stunning performances have seen some of Europe’s biggest clubs sit up and take note.
According to a recent report from ESPN, European trio PSG, Inter Milan and Real Madrid are all ‘monitoring’ Lingard’s situation at Man United ahead of a possible summer move.
It is widely accepted that although Lingard has yet to make a decision on his long-term future, he is only likely to join a club that are in the Champions League.
