🚨 Promoter doesn’t think Anthony Joshua would face Oleksandr Usyk again explains why

Anthony Joshua suffered back-to-back defeats to Oleksandr Usyk.

Since those defeats the Brit has been steadily rebuilding as he aims for another title shot, winning four bouts in a row.

Much talk has been made of ‘AJ’ fighting the winner of the huge undisputed clash between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk but the Ukrainian’s promoter isn’t so sure there will be a trilogy bout.

Alex Krassyuk speaking to World Boxing News said: “I am not sure AJ wants the third one deep in his heart. It seems to be dangerous. It might look like a gambling addiction to many.

“After you’ve lost money on roulette, you come back full of confidence. You bet twice or three times more than you’ve lost, expecting your bet to win. But in the end, you realize that you have lost everything.”

Krassyuk then highlighted another problem for any potential bout between the pair.

He concluded: “One more thing that makes their third fight less probable is the sequence of the mandatories,” he said. “As we all know, the next stop of the carousel is IBF, not the WBC.”
