A Marine AFC fan went viral on Sunday after a photo of Gareth Bale that he took from a window of his house went viral as he watched the semi-professional side take on Premier League giants Tottenham Hotspur in the third round of the FA Cup.
Marine are based in Crosby and they have a unique type of stadium that you wouldn’t normally see in the FA Cup as it has houses that face onto it.
Marine vs. Tottenham.
Marine’s entire squad earns a combined £1,750 a week 💰
There are numbers on the fences around the pitch so the club knows which house to knock on to recover lost balls 😅

Marine were beaten 5-0 on the day but they were thankful for the experience and the respect José Mourinho showed them by fielding a strong team and bringing on world-class players like Bale.
FULL TIME: Marine 0-5 Spurs. ATTENDANCE: 30,697 (virtual tickets). Absolutely fantastic support. Thank you, football world and @SpursOfficial. We will never forget it. #COYM
