Conor McGregor was unusually quiet after his victory at UFC 202 but the Notorious has broken his silence by posting two pictures to Instagram.
The first shows himself and long term girlfriend Dee Devlin at Intrigue Nightclub Vegas during McGregor’s post fight party. The images shows the couple enjoying the evening with the caption:
World champion fresh at my UFC 202 after party! Not a scratch.
McGregor then posted a second photo one hour later featuring himself and a bloodied Nate Diaz, which is his first reaction online since the event.
Great fight, much respect.
I’ll take a heavyweight next.
The second post has obviously gotten people thinking and wondering is he just joking or is he serious about taking on a heavyweight?
The chances are unlikely as McGregor firsthas one of two options to make a decision on. The first being does he go back to 145lbs and defend his featherweight title or does he vacate the title and go back to 155lbs and take on Diaz for a third and final time.
Only time will tell but it’s certainly space worth watching.
