Ole Gunnar Solskjaer are both from Norway and the two who share nationality love to see the other do well.
Dortmund and Norway star Erling Haaland has been taking the world of football by storm since breaking goal scoring records at RB Salzburg and with so much competition around Europe he ended up signing for the Bundesliga giant.
He had been linked with every major club in Europe including Manchester United but that move didn’t happen, not yet anyway. Ole worked with Erling at Molde and was speaking about the 20 year old today.
United were in a bad place when they first tried to sign the star striker but with the club in amazing form as of recent, do they stand a better chance of signing the Norwegian? He would be able to fill the gap that Cavani will leave when he leaves United.
Solskjær: "I'm following Erling [Braut Haaland]. I've always said that. Was it 18 months we had together or something? Almost two years, maybe. A wonderful time. He will definitely have a great career for both Norway and his club." #mulive [vg]

🗣️ — Solskjaer on Haaland:
"He is doing incredibly well for Dortmund, so we'll see where he ends up. As a Norwegian and someone who has worked with him, it is of course fun that he does so well." #mufc #mujournal

He stated that he is ‘following’ the youngster which means there is a good chance that Haaland is on United’s transfer radar. It isn’t very often that a manager confirms they are following a player’s progress so this is big news for United fans.
