According to The Athletic Olé Gunnar Solskjaer has brought in club legends Roy Keane and Ryan Giggs during a training session to inspire the current Manchester United squad.
The Norwegian boss invited the former Manchester United captain (Keane) and record club appearance holder Giggs to a training session to help inspire the younger players and ‘create a family feel.’
According to The Sun Solskjaer was close to being sacked last October but a string of good results has seen his United side climb to the top of the Premier League where they sit on thirty-three points with current champions Liverpool.
Since the turn around the former United player has turned to some of his old teammates to come in and speak to the younger players in a hope to inspire them on how to win a league title.
Keane – who is now a pundit on Sky Sports – played 480 times for the Red Devils and won 12 major trophies making him the most successful captain in the clubs history.
If that wasn’t enough Solskjaer also enlisted the services of Ryan Giggs who won a staggering 22 major trophies during his glittering 24 year career at Old Trafford.
United currently sit top of the league with thirty-three points but The Red Devils hold a one game advantage over their rivals Liverpool who lost to Southampton in their latest Premier League tie.
