Another new broadcasting deal that could be even more bad news for football fans as Premier League supporters may be blocked from following their favourite team by yet another pay wall.
A recent report from the Daily Mail revealed that the ‘Big 6’ are exploring the possibility of sealing eight of the their Premier League games to their own international audiences.
This would cut out broadcasters meaning if you have a BT, Sky Sports or Amazon Prime subscription you will be missing even more Premier League games.
The report states that major games between the ‘Big 6’ would not be involved in the deal.
This would be good news for bigger teams as they would gain another revenue source from their major international audience but would hurt the smaller teams as they would receive less money from broadcasters.
