Talk about a disaster for Munster Rugby and there’s no point in saying otherwise as positive tests and isolation are the theme of their trip to South Africa. After both their matches being called off against the South African sides the Lions and the Bulls.
The new Covid Variant is now rampant in South Africa and it has made its way into the Munster rugby squad and as the squad are now in Cape Town and working on making their way home. Things are not looking good, especially when they have a big game against London Wasps coming up.

Munster have now officially confirmed the nine new positive Covid-19 cases.
They say all "are thankfully well and will continue to be monitored medically."
Those that have received negative results have clearance to travel from the South African authorities.
