The marketing and build up to it has been comically non-existent. Having it in 2 blocks kills all momentum.

Sa rugby need to release say 20 thousand tickets reserved for South Africans, at R250 and under. Use our IDs for proof at point of purchase. Limited to a maximum of 5 per ID.

Fans love the Springboks but R3000 is massive for someone to pay for a ticket in SA’s economy. Also, remember some fans probably have decided to spent the money rather on the All Blacks test there instead

Tickets are the equivalent of 150 pounds. Big money for the average South African especially with a family. This is not a lack of interest. We’re angry with SARU, they messed up on this one. Many will only afford to be able to go to one test this year. Vast majority none at all

Ellis Park is in a bad part of town in the crime capital of the world. The tickets are ridiculously expensive. What did they expect?

  1. The buying of tickets is a crazy system! No where does SA Rugby say you may only buy 4 tickets per person! How does one bug 6 for a family plus grandparents ? Impossible !
I have purchased tickets for the first All Black test but other than an email I have no proof of a ticket anywhere ! This does not lead to confidence and resembles a possible scam! For that reason I did not buy for the England game 👎😩

  2. Such a pity that greed is keeping loyal supporters away from live games. The ticket prices are waaaay too expensive for the average person to afford. Please rethink your prices!

  3. What did SARU expect? People don’t want to go to Ellis Park, it’s too dangerous! Catch a wake up SARU….I also feel sorry for the Lions, nobody go’s there to support them.
The ticket prices are way too high for the average South African, supporters have been complaining about this for years but nothing is done….GREED!!!!!!@@ THIS IS NOT FAIR TO OUR BOKS, they need our support….FUL HOUSES!! SARU ASSHOLES!
