Lionel Messi’s son, Mateo, clearly has ambitions of being the new Roy Keane, having left his brother in a heap with a strong slide tackle.
Messi and his sons were playing football in their living room as his wife Antonela Roccuzzo watched and filmed.
The Paris Saint-Germain superstar can be seen toying with his children with his famous footwork, which may well have riled Mateo up.
As younger brother Ciro found himself with the ball at his feet, Mateo took no prisoners as he slid in to regain possession, running the risk of injuring his sibling.

You can envisage 15 years down the line, with Roy Keane’s beard having turned white, as the Irishman tips his hat to Mateo for getting stuck into his opponents.
We’re not entirely sure where Mateo’s learnt that, with Messi not being renowned for his tough tackling, but it’s impressive nonetheless!
