According to the Sun, Manchester City are interesting in signing 13-year-old Celtic prospect Karamoko Dembele.
Dembele jumped onto everyones radar when he was substituted on during a Celtic U20 match earlier in October, and the 13 year old has been linked with moves away from the Scottish giants ever since.
City have reportedly been tracking the youngster as part of their bid to recruit the best young talent from around Europe.
Scouts from the Etihad have been monitoring Dembele, and one City source has confirmed the 13-year-old is very much of interest to them.
“He has been on the radar for a number of months now. He is very talented,” the source confirmed.
“The club is always searching around Europe for another potential star and Dembele is one being looked at.”
City will be hoping, should he sign, that Dembele can reach the heights of Kelechi Iheanacho who has emerged from City’s academy recently and so far netted 17 times in 42 appearances for City, an impressive haul for a 20-year-old.
