Manchester City defender Josko Gvardiol has spent his summer completing a “real commando mission”.
The defender turned video games into reality as he puts himself through gruelling mental and physical preparation for the upcoming season.
The 23-year-old shared snaps on his Instagram where he was seen enjoying his summer break by taking part in a Commando Squad 9 event.
According to The Sun, the company claim to the first ever tourist agency to “transform legendary war games into reality”.
Gvardiol dressed up in full commando gear and carried airsoft guns to experience being part of a virtual war zone during multi-day holiday package.
The packages, which take place in Gvardiol’s home nation of Croatia, start from £7,000.
In his caption, the versatile defender wrote: “I’ve always wanted to know what it feels like to be part of a special forces team and complete a real commando mission.”
The defender is currently on an extended break after participating in the Club World Cup in the United States.
