Ahead of their Europa League game against Fenerbahce at Old Trafford on Thursday, Manchester United defender and long term injury absentee, Luke Shaw, has written a letter to José Mourinho stating he is fit and ready and deserves a regular starting place.
“I had a problem with my groin from the Watford game but now I’m feeling good and ready for the game,” he said. “I hate missing matches but this is what happens sometimes. I’m back and ready to fight for my place.”
“We’re getting better and better but there’s so much more to come from us” he added.
Shaw will start against Fenerbahce on Thursday in the Europa League as he hopes to earn his place back in José Mourinho’s side.
