Leeds knocked out of FA Cup by League 2 side Crawley Town

This really sums of the term ‘The Magic Of The Cup’ as League 2 side Crawley Town ignored all the odds stacked against them to absolutely smash Premier League Leeds United 3-0.

The first half was a complete dead lock with both sides going into the break without a goal but it was in the 50′ that things became interesting. Winger Nicholas Tsaroulla got Crawley off the line with his strike in the 50′ thanks to an assist from Ashley Nadesan. The assist is only on p[aper though as Nicholas did so much work on his own to create space an absolute destroy the Leeds defence with his superb dribbling and strike.

Just 3 minutes later Crawley doubled their lead through Ashley Nadesan thanks to a lovely through ball from Tom Nicholls that set him up on the outside as he shot towards goal and unluckily for Kiko Cassila ricocheted off the keeper and into the back of the net.

Crawley then made it 3-0 to seal progression in the 70′ thanks to a messy ball bouncing around the box that luckily fell directly at the feet of Jordan Tunnicliffe who tapped it home.
