Leeds beat Crystal Palace at home today in a convincing 2-0 fashion but everyone was talking about the condition of Leeds new pitch as the players seemed to be slipping and sliding all around the surface.

In an interview with the Sky SPorts Monday Night Football panel after the game, goal scorer Patrick Bamford revealed that he had to ‘rugby studs’ on at half time just to be able to stand up on their new grass.

Tottenham fans will be laughing after Daniel Levy sold Leeds a ready to go surface for £300k according to Football Insider to fix Leeds United’s terrible drainage issues which resulted in multiple complaints by Premier League clubs having to travel and play away games at the Yorkshire club.

Now it seems Tottenham made £300k for selling bad grass or maybe we’re speaking a bit too soon and the grass just needs time to settle, we’ll find out soon enough.
