Sparring footage has emerged of Anthony Joshua and Joe Joyce going toe-to-toe – and it’s safe to say there was a clear, superior fighter!
Joyce has been proposed as a potential interim opponent for Joshua as he waits for Oleksandr Usyk to be in a position to defend his heavyweight world championship belts.
Joyce has worked his way up the heavyweight division ladder in recent years and the payday he’d presumably get from participating in the all-British bout is the least that he deserves.
However, does he have the necessary boxing ability to pose any considerable challenge to Joshua, who is in need of some fine-tuning after his rather humbling defeat to Usyk?
Judging by a video that is doing the rounds of the pair sparring in the past – he doesn’t. Even though the pair had the handbrake on, Joshua was still giving him a lesson in the ring.
