Jake Ball removed from Wales squad after punching captain Alun Wyn Jones

There is currently some chaos in the Welsh camp ahead of their Six Nations opener with Ireland as lock Jake Ball was removed from the Wales squad for punching captain Alun Wyn Jones in the face reports the Daily Mail.

Wales made numerous changes to their squad ahead of their clash with Ireland and one notable omission finally has a reason.

Jake Ball who was all set to partner Alun Wyn Jones in the second row has been replaced in the starting line up by 25 year old Ospreys lock Adam Beard.

Alun Wyn will sport a black eye for their clash at home with Ireland at 3pm this evening and it comes in the same week that Josh Adams was suspended for breaking COVID rules to attend a ‘gender reveal’ party.

It seems like the camp is in disarray and it will be the perfect moment for Ireland to capitalise and start their Sic Nations campaign with a huge win over Wales.
