Why were his legs up there? We often hear refs tell players to not swing around in the ruck. They know they can cause interference with their legs.

No matter how the dissatisfaction, moaning and disappointment, what done is done. Leinster in the final. URC’s head of referees will come out all blaze and defend Hollie. Even if they apologize, it wound change the end result. It’s a fact, we as fans must accept these decisions.
It’s a tough one. JGP wasn’t looking at Moerats feet so wasn’t a deliberate search for a penalty-that’s clear. If you’re lying on the ground and trying to get up you do not lift your legs in the air….. So I feel Moerat was interfering with play but whether he actually meant to kick the ball is a difficult one…….
