Gary Neville has spoken about former teammate and Manchester United legend Wayne Rooney now that he has made the transition to management.

Wayne played an amazing 559 games for Manchester United, scoring 253 goals and registering 146 assists according to Transfermarkt.

Gary Neville has described the Merseyside man as the ‘best centre forward I ever saw at Manchester United’ putting the 35 year old ahead of players like Eric Cantona and Teddy Sheringham.

An amazing honour for Wayne who devoted nearly his entire playing career to the reds and won many trophies along the way.

Learning from legendary manager Sir Alex Ferguson he’s sure to be a success in management.
