James Toney is not overly impressed with the current heavyweight scene.
Speaking to Marko Boxing, Toney gave a damning assessment of the current heavyweight crop and that Tyson Fury should be ashamed of himself after his performance against Francis Ngannou.

“Man, Tyson Fury should be ashamed of himself. He is the best in the world right now, then you got Wilder then Joshua. To be honest with you, I don’t know who else.”

He was then reminded of the unified heavyweight champion, Oleksandr Usyk.
“Oh he’s garbage. The right time, the right moment. If he was in my era he’d be getting destroyed left and right. Basically everybody today we’d destroy. Hell no or the seventies or the eighties.”
Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk collide on February 17th to crown an undisputed heavyweight champion.
