Olivier Giroud and Kylian Mbappe have reportedly been involved in a war of words in the France dressing room ahead of Euro 2020.
The Les Bleus duo, who won the World Cup playing together at the spearhead of Didier Deschamps attack, appear to have fallen out of love now Karim Benzema has returned to the fold.
Or so claim L’Equipe (as relayed by AS), who believe that Giroud grew frustrated with Mbappe in the second-half of France’s win over Bulgaria, with the PSG superstar refusing to pass to the Chelsea striker.

Giroud is thought to have been frustrated with Mbappe’s insistence on passing the ball to Benzema, before he went off injured, and instead trying to make things happen alone after Giroud came onto the field.
As per L’Equipe, the comments didn’t sit well with Mbappe, who was intent on holding a press conference to speak out against Giroud, before the idea was shut down by manager Deschamps.
If this news is true, it’s hardly ideal preparation for the world champions as they look to have a second triumphant international tournament on the bounce.
